| I lost my dad in late October 4 years ago, that was tough. Then 2 years ago, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, my husband had a brain aneurysm. It was very scary. We were in neuro-ICU for almost 2 weeks. Christmas time was happening without us. Amazingly, by the grace of God, he came out of it fine and no lasting effects, but that Christmas was very different, and has changed our attitude about what is important. I hope that time has lessened the blow, even just a little, and that this Christmas will be more joyful for your family, even if it is bittersweet…Bernice |
