| I didnt read the entire block quote of RYE, and I suspect few readers will. It’s hard enough to read any block quote, let alone when reading it on the computer in spaced hebrew. So all I read was the words you bolded. And from that alein I dont see how you construe it to refer to the missing years. He just seems to say, at a glance, that nowadays there’s no problem counting with our own internal counting system, rather than by the king’s reign, because nobody cares about it and hence there is no shalom issue. |
