| I knew this was coming. The price of an Obama win gives the conservatives the authority to proclaim that racism doesn't exist. As for the race card, that has been devalued. It looks like the racial challenges have taken a different form. In the aftermath, people I knew from before now deal with me differently. Barristers, Workmates etc. I get the feeling that they too feel freed from white guilt. Its going to be a tough sell addressing racism from now on. |
