Definitions change as time goes by. What was conservative in one generation is not in the next etc.Needs change, ideas morph. Would Aristotle be conservative? Socrates would be a radical liberal and died for it too.I think the problem is differing definitions of what is liberal and what is conservative anyway.Perhaps truth lies between the extremes. Perhaps we don't know anymore.
