Whoa, whoa… back up a bit! You’re an established independant consultant; you’re in control; you’re doing what you love. And you sometimes have shitty client meetings!! That little throwaway statement is for me is the most important message from this post. As someone seriously considering taking the plunge myself to create their own business in this field, the reminder that just because it’s your business doesn’t mean that every single client relationship or meeting is the embodiment of perfection is a seriously good thing to bear in mind.
