it best as “I really like these poles when they are working correctly.” Fortunately, I was still able to lock my pole down for my hike, however, I could not adjust it unless I completely pulled the poles apart, tightened down on the locking washer a bit and then made the adjustment. This was ok though for my needs. With my Hexamid, I adjust the pole before putting it in the tent. I can see how making the adjustment while in the tent (such as the Skyscape) would be more of an issue though.For now though, I am still happy with them and have not been persuaded to trade them in…~Stick~
