This interview really makes me think I should expand my array of writing feedback sources. Thanks, Jackie and Marylee. Writing is so lonely and without each other I can’t imagine how we would do it. I’m just re-reading Joan Didion’s Year of Magical Thinking. What a blessing to be married to a writer you trust, somebody in the next room who will read your drafts, answer questions, come up with a title for your book over lunch. But most of us don’t have that and we have to seek community. Marylee is full of useful ideas and experience!
