Wanker!!!Those are very good points.Regarding Miracle on 34th Street -- I know it's kind of a glaring omission not to include it here since it's probably the most classic example of this theme (aside from the essay "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus"). The only reason I didn't mention Miracle is because I've only seen it once, so I don't have the same kind of detailed analysis of it as I do for these others. |
