We also see ikat and suzani, which are very old designs now enjoying a comeback. However, most people are not obsessed with interior design, and will run into what we find ubiquitous only occasionally. Personally, I experience delight whenever I see really good fabric used in new and different combos. Which fabric did your client decide on, the paisley or the dragon?
