But since the Sparc cpu in the Duo isn’t really the fastest one available, you should try to tune carefully there. Also you can experiment with the size of the different buffers (Send/RcvDataSegmentLength) but again: carefully. Putting more RAM into the ReadyNAS may help as well for it will allow the NAS to buffer more of the file in memory before writing to disk. |
