| Some solid reasoning there Martin, (and I suspect a fair bit of feedback on its way)I've always fancied the concept and benefits of tarping, but the downside in UK wind/rain for high level work reduces my flexibility with rather too much associated discomfort. After a long day out I want that confidance I'll get some decent sleep in a dry and protected environment. Until I can see a way around that, tents will continue to get my vote, despite the weight issue. |
