This is so encouraging! I have svelreey limited our consumption of canned foods since last summer so I hope it’s making a difference! I can’t find decent olives that aren’t canned and I’m not willing to give them up… but I don’t do canned tomato sauce for spaghetti anymore, I found a plastic bottled version at Costco that’s one of the “safer” plastics. Catch 22 there. And I did manage to can some of my own last summer, but not nearly enough, canning sauce takes sweet forever!I’d really like to know what plastic packaging we need to avoid though… |
